Expo 2030 Riyadh is one of the largest hospitality and placemaking briefs our team has worked on: a 6,000,000 sqm site spanning five distinct districts, requiring a hospitality vision, masterplan and F&B programme capable of working at true giga-project scale.
We began working on the Conceptual Master Plan (CMP) alongside LAVA on hospitality strategy, shaping how food, beverage and guest experience would be woven through the masterplan from the earliest stage. As the project progressed into the Detailed Master Plan (DMP), we were brought on board by Buro Happold to lead F&B strategy specifically, translating the conceptual vision into a deliverable programme across the site's districts.
Working at this scale means coordinating hospitality decisions across multiple design teams and government stakeholders, over a multi-year timeline, while keeping every district's F&B and guest experience proposition distinct enough to matter and coherent enough to work as one destination.
In Development.
