Four Seasons Hotel Madrid appointed Think Hospitality to redefine the strategy for ISA, an underperforming restaurant and bar within the flagship property. Despite its premium location and design, ISA was not achieving its commercial potential, nor delivering the level of guest experience expected within one of Spain’s most prestigious luxury hotels.
Working closely with the hotel leadership team, we undertook a full strategic review encompassing concept evaluation, competitive benchmarking, guest journey mapping and revenue optimisation analysis.
The programme refined ISA’s offer across every dimension — repositioning the concept, sharpening menu direction and operational alignment, and applying revenue optimisation tools and behavioural pricing principles to unlock the venue’s latent commercial value.
Following implementation, ISA earned recognition in the Michelin Guide and significantly improved its online guest ratings on both TripAdvisor and Google, confirming the repositioning’s impact on both critical acclaim and guest perception.
The project demonstrated that a structured, insight-led approach to hotel F&B can transform an underperforming outlet into a genuine differentiator for the wider property.
